By and with Filippo Tognazzo, produced with the collaboration of INAF – the National Astrophysics Institute
STARLIGHT sevenmillimetresofuniverse recounts the birth of astrophysics in Italy through the story of the life and research of some of the nineteenth century’s most important scientists: Giuseppe Lorenzoni, Pietro Tacchini, Angelo Secchi, Giovan Battista Donati, and Armino Nobile.
It will also be an opportunity to take a new look at Italian history between the Risorgimento and Italian unification, narrated through the vicissitudes and passion of men whose raison d’être was scientific research and astronomy.
The show aired on RAI SCUOLA (digital terrestrial channel 146) last March 5th and will be repeated on Thursday, March 9th at 11.00am and Saturday, March 11 at 10.15pm.
